Stain Protection
Protects your fabric from both oil and water borne stains. Also, helps repel dust and dry soil. Extends fabric life (actually increases rub resistance). No effect on hand or appearance. Durable to commercial cleanings. Generally superior to "branded" products. Excellent protection at a great price!

Flame and Stain Protection
This is our Most Popular finish! Combination of Flame Retardant and Stain Protection. Highly recommended for all dark and solid colored fabrics. An absolute "must" for commercial upholstery applications.

Knit Backing
Specified by major furniture manufacturers. Cotton polyester knit backing is bonded to the back of your fabric. Reinforces silks, chenilles and other fabrics for upholstery use. Helps prevent seam slippage. Gives a luxurious hand to lightweight fabrics.

Acrylic Latex Backcoating
Acrylic Latex coating applied to the back of fabric. Stabilizes and reinforces fabrics for upholstery use. Improves handling characteristics. Helps prevent fraying and seam slippage. Recommended for directional fabrics. Not recommended for silks. Additional stain protection required.

Wall Upholstery Backing
Multi-layer barrier coating applied to the back of fabric. Improves fabric handling characteristics and helps prevent adhesive "strike-through" when used for wall upholstery. Additional stain protection required.

Flame Retardant Backing
True "Frost Free" flammability protection. Best choice for upholstery fabrics requiring flame retardant certification. Meets most upholstery flammability standards without the addition of a topical flame retardant. Achieves excellent results on difficult synthetic fibers. Durable to commercial cleanings. Additional stain protection required.

Moisture Barrier Backing
Vinyl barrier laminated to the back of fabric. Protects furniture upholstery from spills and moisture. Helps maintain a clean, sanitary environment. Widely used in institutional and health care applications.

Vinyl Lamination
The "Ultimate Stain Protector." Clear protective vinyl is laminated to the face of your fabric. Meets most upholstery flammability standards. Matte finish. Indoor use only.

Ultra Violet (UV) Inhibitor
Helps block out ultraviolet radiation from sunlight and other sources. Improves lightfastness characteristics of most substrates.
(top)

Water Resistance
Water repellent finish, durable to laundering and dry cleaning. Enhances performance of "outdoor" fabrics. Degree of repellency determined by fiber content and construction of fabric.
(top)

Mildew Resistance
Long term protection against fungus, mold and mildew growth. Can be applied in conjunction with other finishes if used for upholstery.
(top)

Antimicrobial Finish
A broad spectrum growth inhibitor that retards the growth of most gram negative and gram positive bacteria as well as many viruses.
(top)

Fabric Inspection
A separate process by which each yard of material is visually inspected for flaws and general condition. Recommended whenever there is any question about the quality of goods sent for finishing.
(top)

Preshrinking
Process designed to reduce residual shrinkage and increase stability in natural fiber fabrics. This is not a chemical or mechanical process, but a natural shrinkage followed by gentle drying. Degree of shrinkage is determined by content and construction of fabric.
(top)

Measure/ Cut
A separate process by which fabrics are measured, cut and re-rolled onto separate bolts.
